Only Better World Campaign, UN Foundation staff and our authorized agents have access to personally identifiable information provided by visitors to our site.

Privacy of Email Addresses

Our website does not automatically recognize your email address. We ask for your email address on a number of pages within our site, but you may opt out of email communications at any time by un-checking the box beneath where you entered in your email address, or by clicking the unsubscribe link that is included at the bottom of every email communication from the Better World Campaign. You may also email us at anytime at to be removed.

Browser Information Collected on Our Website

As with any website operator, we analyze our website logs to constantly improve the value of our website. We use an external service to provide real-time reporting to us and our authorized agents of browser accesses to our site. This reporting includes page views, unique views, unique visitors, repeat visitors, frequency of visits, and peak-volume traffic periods. We do not use this service to gather, request, record, require, collect or track any Internet users’ personally identifiable information.


A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on the BWC site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user will be able to access quiz results, or other interactive features made possible only through the implementation of cookies. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site, but again, this is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information.
