On April 30, 2019, Better World Campaign Director of Peacekeeping Policy Chandrima Das testified before the House Foreign Affairs Committee Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights and International Organizations on the important role played by United Nations peacekeepers in Africa.

In her testimony, Das stressed that fulfilling paying our U.S. dues to UN Peacekeeping not only serves U.S. national security interests, but is also the smart thing to do, especially when taking into account that other countries contribute 99.9% of troops.
