As the world continues to absorb the impacts of Russia’s war in Ukraine, our latest poll shows UN favorability has risen among U.S. voters. The poll also reveals what U.S. voters appreciate most among the many functions that the UN has provided in Ukraine and the surrounding areas.
UN favorability increased to 62% this year, up from 56% the year before. American voters see providing humanitarian aid as the UN’s most important function, followed by caring for refugees, and monitoring Ukraine’s nuclear facilities.
Support for the UN remains strong across the board. 6 in 10 Americans believe the U.S. should pay its UN dues on time and in full, 69% believe the UN is an organization that is still needed today.
Once again, our latest poll was conducted by the bipartisan polling team of Public Opinion Strategies and Hart Research Associates.
