“As the unanimous, bipartisan vote attests, Sen. Rubio has the right blend of experience and vision to take on the role of the country’s top diplomat.
“As a former Vice Chairman of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and a senior member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Sen. Rubio understands well the challenges and complexities of dealing with America’s geopolitical competitors, as well as the importance of a ‘strong and confident America that engages in the world,’ as he said in his Senate hearing.
