Vincent Valdmanis leads the UN Foundation’s Peace and Security Policy work, advancing U.S. and international efforts to prevent conflict and protect communities. He brings two decades of field experience in conflict-affected regions, where he directed peacebuilding programs, developed national policy strategies and built local coalitions that amplified the impact of UN peace operations and reinforced local governance in Africa and the Middle East. Focused on translating policy into tangible results, he helps ensure that communities are safe, resilient and equipped to thrive.
He is a graduate of Bard College, where he was a Trustee Leadership Scholar and Thomas J. Watson Fellow, and New York University.
