A poll released in January 2022 finds Americans are divided about whether the U.S. should counter countries like Russia and China unilaterally. Yet when asked about the importance of countering Russia and China multilaterally, a majority said it is important to engage these countries at the UN. The sentiment was shared equally between Republicans and Democrats.
The poll, in conjunction with polling firm Morning Consult, was conducted between January 22-23, 2022 among a sample of 2,211 Adults.
